So there I was, holding a block of tofu and surfing through Pinterest looking for a recipe. That’s when I came across a “Vegan Tofu Sticky Fingers with Blue Cheese” recipe from www.rabbitandwolves.com!
That sounded absolutely DANK to me, so here’s how it went:
I sliced my tofu into 1/3 inch slices & coated them in flour.
In one bowl, I mixed a cup of almond milk and 1 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar. In another bowl I poured a cup or so of Panko breadcrumbs.
Dip each slice of tofu in the liquid mixture and then coat in Panko. Then bake the tofu at 425 degrees Farenheit for 15-20 minutes.
While your tofu is baking, it’s time to make the sticky finger sauce! Over a stove, heat up 1 cup of brown sugar, 1/3 cup of hot sauce, 1 tbsp. of garlic powder, and a splash of water. Heat until the sugar thickens and let sit until the tofu is done.
While you’re still waiting, make your vegan bleu cheese dip! Mix 1/2 cup of vegan mayo, 1/2 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar and lemon juice, and 1/2 tsp of onion powder, garlic powder, dill, tahini, and salt!
Once the tofu is done, take it out of the oven & coat each baked slice in your heated brown sugar sauce.
And voila! Serve your DELISH vegan tofu sticky fingers with your bleu ranch sauce!! Enjoy loves!
